Principals Day is on May 1st. On Monday, May 2nd we are encouraging students to come to the office during homebase to give Mrs Pascarella a show of appreciation. Students can bring cards, notes or posters :)

- TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCH - The office staff is providing lunch for the teachers on Wednesday May 4th for Teacher Appreciation Week. If you are willing to donate a snack/appetizer or dessert please contact Dina Jones in the office at dina.jones@oshkosh.k12.wi.us

- May 17 - 7th grade field trip to Madison
- May 17 - 6th grade band and choir concert @ 7PM
- May 19 - Teen Money students will be visiting the Junior Achievement Center and FVTC 8:30AM-3:15PM
- May 19 - 7th and 8th grade Spring choir concert 7PM
- June 1 - 8th grade end of year field trip to Six Flags Great America. Field trip forms went home on April 11th and are due MAY 6, 2022. The cost will be $70 (due on May 6th) and will include food and drinks for the day. Please contact Paula Noe at paula.noe@oshkosh.k12.wi.us if you need assistance with covering the cost of the trip, we have donors that would like to see all students be able to attend!
- June 2 - 8th grade advancement ceremony at 10:15AM. This typically lasts about an hour. Parents, grandparents and siblings are welcome. 8th graders are welcome to stay the rest of the day but can also go home with parents/guardians if excused for the afternoon.

Teachers will be using Canvas this year to deliver content, give feedback, and grading. As parents you can be an observer in your child's courses to see the work that is completed along with grades. Here are the directions to become an observer in your child's course.

OPPORTUNITY FOR FUTURE OSHKOSH WEST WILDCATS (current 7th and 8th graders):
Are you interested in traveling to Greece and Italy in June of 2024? Wildcats Abroad (Oshkosh West travel club) will have a group of students traveling in the summer of 2024. We typically go on an abroad trip every other year. In 2018, we traveled to Dublin, London, and Paris. In 2022, we are traveling to Switzerland and Italy. If this trip interests you, please email Mr. Lasee at jason.lasee@oshkosh.k12.wi.us and he will email you more information. Current West students will have an opportunity during W-hour to get more information as well. Space is limited, so reach out if interested soon.

Options to purchase things at Six Flags are as follows: Purchase a pre-paid VISA card ahead of time for your student. These can be found at Walgreens, grocery stores etc.. or Six Flags also has "Cash to Card Kiosks". There is no fee for this and they are found throughout the park. Cash is converted to a VISA card so they can be used outside of the park as well)

- June 2 - Last day of school for students. Yearbooks that were purchased will be handed out to students on the last day of school. If you did not purchase a yearbook and would like one, they will be sold for $16 in the office on the last day of school on a first come, first served basis. Yearbook fees were due last If you are unsure if you ordered a yearbook, you can look in your Infinite Campus parent portal under FEES.
